The Resident Companies (ResCo) are the pillars of Everblue's Educational programming. Separated into three branches, the Junior Resident Company, Transitional Resident Company and Resident Company, these programs offer the foundation and training for the young artist ages 8-18.
Junior ResCo is a program designed for the budding artist. Students ages 8-12 are introduced to the foundational principles of theatre, music, and movement in a creative and exploratory setting. This program meets weekly on Thursdays from 1:30-3:30PM.
The ResCo is a conservatory-modeled, educational component of Everblue Arts. This select group of artists (ages 12-18) studies and trains with seasoned professionals for careers in the entertainment industry. The ResCo curriculum includes acting for stage and film, dance, group and private voice, commercial voiceover technique, stage combat, and more. Each year, the ResCo has the rare opportunity to audition for roles in our mainstage events featuring Broadway and many other professionals. Acceptance into the Resident Company is awarded by audition only.
